Famous faces ask curious questions in a hilarious new studio show
12 Stars is a new, star-studded, studio entertainment show that features a wide range of famous faces doing very funny things. Anchored with a popular and funny host, the new format pits three celebrity guests against each other, as they aim to correctly answer an array of questions posed by twelve famous faces – either live in the studio or on VT – hidden behind twelve doors on a giant grid. And the stakes are high. Each of the three celebrities is representing a third of the audience – and if successful, they can win them fantastic prizes. Playing for the audience encourages good-natured rivalry amongst the guests and also creates a really upbeat and lively atmosphere in the studio. 12 Stars is full of fun, surprises and has questions that you wouldn’t find on other ‘quiz’ shows. The questions may be asked directly, or through a sketch or film and represent a chance for the twelve celebrities to let their hair down and expose their sense of humour. The questions will spark laughs in the studio – and they might even cause a little heated debate. 12 Stars is ideal for primetime family viewing and the format is flexible and can be readily themed around any number of topics, occasions or calendar events. Channel 4 has commissioned the show in the UK with a festive theme – The 12 Stars of Christmas – with comedian Alan Carr as host and Alexander Armstrong, Alesha Dixon and Rob Beckett as guests.
