A docusoap following six British families as they emigrate and forge new lives in sunny Australia. Each family heads to a very different part of the country, but they’ll all be confronted by the same fundamental challenge – Success? Or failure? House-hunting, job-hunting, school-hunting – life’s most stressful experiences will be crammed into an intense few weeks. Cultural differences, isolation, integration – all of these key issues will confront our couples and their children. Even the simplest of tasks – from shopping to driving lessons – can explode in the pressure cooker environs of a new life in a new country.
